Case Study: 540kW KOB Pyrot wood chip and pellet boiler for Nelson College for Girls

Nelson College for Girls - is one of the largest secondary schools in New Zealand. With two ageing 450kW coal boilers and a local Council focused on improving air quality, the school resolved to introduce wood fired heating to the school as a means to futureproof its heating system for years to come. Following a tender process, Spark Energy was selected to deliver a new heating system anchored by a 540kW KOB Pyrot wood chip and pellet boiler.
