Solid Biofuel Interest Group discussion on the risks of having too much energy security tied to a single energy source.

There has been growing concern that New Zealand’s energy security is being put at risk if too many applications are dependent on the need to get consented and build more electricity power stations. Bioenergy is distributed energy and supply of biomass as a fuel or feedstock can be managed by where and when trees are planted.
